Blues Sevens come to Cote...

Cote hosted the Blues franchise Sevens trials with Auckland, North Harbour and Northland all bringing two teams to the Cote on saturday in an effort to select their provincial teams to play at the New Zealand Sevens National tournie in Queenstown in January.
It was great to see a number of Cote boys vying for position - Theo, Willie, Harry and James just to name a few.
Many thanks to Recreational Services for supplying the tent and BBQ trailer and well done volunteers for manning and running the day - congrats have been received from all the Sevens coaches and they want to make it a regulat annual fixture!!
I must say, Northland did look good playing in the Cote Sevens Jerseys (who forgot the team kit then??) « Back to Senior News
